Automatic Basket Washers
An automatic basket parts washer is a simple and intuitive device to operate. Learning how to use it is straightforward, but there are a few basic rules that should be followed. Adhering to the instructions and standards developed for each specific model ensures excellent cleaning results.

First Start-Up of the Automatic Basket Washer
Operating the washer is very easy. During the washing process, the operator’s main task is to monitor the display parameters – specifically, the water temperature and the fluid level in the tank. The machine takes care of the rest automatically! The basket parts washer operates automatically and requires no additional operation. An exception is the first start-up of the machine on a given day, when the operator needs to prepare the washer for operation.
Before turning on the washer, the tank should be filled with the washing liquid, which is a mixture of concentrate and water. For use with the MRS-WASH system, it is recommended to use MRS Cleaner Strong concentrate, diluted in a ratio of 1:20, which means 1 liter of concentrate per 20 liters of water. During the first start-up, the washing solution also needs to be heated. The manufacturer recommends a liquid temperature of 60°C.
Due to the large volume of liquid in the tank and the relatively high washing temperature, the first cleaning cycle takes longer than subsequent cycles. The process may take around 30–40 minutes longer, as the water needs to be heated. Thanks to the temperature sensor, which continuously monitors the liquid’s temperature, reheating is not necessary for the next cycles since the temperature is maintained at a constant level.
How Does the Automatic Basket Washer Work?
For the automatic basket parts washer to operate correctly, it is important for the operator to distribute the workpieces evenly across the entire surface of the basket. Once all the parts to be cleaned are placed in the basket, the lid is closed, and the desired washing time (and, if applicable, the temperature during the first cycle of the day) is set on the control panel. In the final step, the START button is pressed. The sensor measures the temperature of the washing liquid and sends this information to the control system. Once the desired temperature is reached, the washing process starts automatically. The pump activates and directs the washing liquid to the spray nozzles of the spray system.
After the washing cycle is complete, the operator can open the lid and remove the cleaned parts.
